I too am a podcaster of the Mac persuasion. My co-host and I produce a monthly podcast that I can only describe as general interest; news, app recommendations, tips, podcast suggestions, etc. Our podcast is called
The EZ Mac Podcast and is hosted by Jeff & Mike, of which I am the latter.
I have been using Macintosh computers since 1992 and my first Mac was a Performa 6200. I have been going to Macworld Expos ever since 1997 in Boston and when they cancelled those east coast expos, I started going to the one in San Francisco. This'll be the first year I miss the expo since I started attending and can't wait to hear feedback of how a show without Apple's presence holds up.
How I got turned onto Mac OS Ken:
I first heard a band out of San Francisco called The Famous on a podcast called The Roadhouse. They even did a humorous ID for the show. I thought they were awesome...in fact I still do. I picked up their CD, Light, Sweet Crude and played it endlessly on my iPod and in my car. Then, as happenstance would have it, they had a gig in Toronto and I live in Windsor, ON - about a four hour drive up the 401. My wife and I went to the show and met the dudes in the band. While talking with Laurence Scott, the singer, I mentioned The EZ Mac podcast and he tells me that a friend of his from San Francisco also does a Mac podcast and that I should check it out. That was in February of 2006 and I've been listening to Mac OS Ken ever since.
I have had the pleasure of being on the last Day 6 episode of 2009 wherein we discussed the past year in Apple accomplishments. Ken was also cordial enough to be on a special edition of The EZ Mac show a few weeks back where I asked him what he expected of the impending MacTabletNetbookThingy.
