Heading into this week’s “Peek performance” event, some had hoped that Apple would update the 27-inch iMac with Apple Silicon. Instead, Apple sent the machine packing. On the same day that Apple introduced Mac Studio and its sold-separately display, Ars Technica says “the 27-inch Intel iMac disappeared from Apple's online store.” The site has since confirmed with Apple that the super big, all-in-one desktop has “reached end of life.”
