Apple Teases “Upcoming” Wuhan Store with Wallpapers

12 APRIL 2022 - Apple has started the run-up to a new store in China. Apple Insider says the company “is preparing to open its Apple Store in Wuhan, China, promoting the upcoming launch with the release of a new wallpaper.” While the Apple Wuhan site simply lists the store as “Upcoming,” promoting it likely puts the opening in under two months. Of course, that assumes no worsening of COVID conditions and no more stringent lockdowns for Wuhan - neither of which feels like particularly thick ice. Still, as it stands now, Apple is moving ahead with opening plans.
