Apple TV+ Inks First-Look Deal with Maya Rudolph’s Animal Pictures

28 JUNE 2022 - Apple TV+ seems to like what it’s seen from “Loot.” On the heels of the premier of the Maya Rudolph-led series, a piece from 9 to 5 Mac says the Cupertino-streamer has inked a first-look deal with Rudolph’s production company Animal Pictures.

A first-look deal is pretty much what it sounds like. Apple gets dibs on any series and/or features working their way through Animal Pictures. If Apple’s not interested in a given project, Animal Pictures is set free to shop it around to anyone else who’s interested.
