“The Oprah Conversation” with Elliot Page Wins GLAAD Award

09 MAY 2022 - Clear more space in Apple’s trophy case. iMore says the Apple TV+ series “The Oprah Conversation” has won a GLAAD Media Award. According to the piece, those awards:

…recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community and the issues that affect their lives.

The piece says Apple TV+ and the show earned the award for the episode featuring Elliot Page and his “first on-camera interview after disclosing that he is transgender, describing his life struggles and his message for trans youth.”
