Apple’s Shazam Adds Concert Finding Features

23 MARCH 2022 - If the year or two since you’ve been out on the floor is a year or two too many, Shazam is ready to get you back to a venue near you. MacRumors says Apple’s audio discovery app has added a few new features meant to make finding concerts easier. “When Shazaming a song,” says the piece:

…searching for it in the Shazam app, or looking for it on the Shazam website, users will now see concert information and details on tickets available for upcoming shows located nearby.

If, on the other hand, you have a specific act in mind, cool. The piece says users can now open an artist or group’s page in Shazam to find dates, times, and venues where he, she, or they are playing.
