Bateman Out of Director’s Chair on Apple TV+ Film “Artemis”

09 JUNE 2022 - The director of a big film for Apple TV+ has taken the off ramp. Deadline says Jason Bateman has pulled out of the Scarlett Johansson/Chris Evans film Artemis, “due to creative differences.”

Very little is known about the movie, except that it stars Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans and was supposed to have been directed by Bateman. Well, that and Apple’s said to have ponied up $100 million for it.

Bateman and producers are said to have parted amicably, but parted they have. No word yet on a replacement.
