Report: Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans Teaming (Again) for Apple TV+ Film

01 APRIL 2022 - It looks like Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans will make another run at another movie for Apple TV+. The two MCU “Avengers” were supposed to reunite on the Cupertino-streamer’s film Ghosted, though Johansson had to bail due to a scheduling conflict. Now, a piece from Deadline says they’re scheduled to share the screen in the Apple TV+ film Project Artemis, under the direction of Ozark and Hancock star Jason Bateman. “…set against the space race” is about all that’s known of the plot at this point. Off screen, the deal is said to have been a big one - believed to have cost Apple over $100 million. 

While Apple has not announced the project, Chris Evans seems to have confirmed it. The actor quoted a Tweet of the Deadline story, adding the response “Very excited!!!” 

With three exclamation points to show just how excited he is.
